On August 17, 2024, the third advanced anatomy course on spinal endoscopic minimally invasive technology was successfully held at the headquarters of the Dabo Group in Xiamen. This forum was hosted by the China Medical Equipment Association and organized by Dabo Medical, SPINENDOS, and Donghong Zhiyuan. This meeting is the third in a series of training sessions on spinal endoscopic minimally invasive technology organized by Dabo Medical, aimed at further improving medical diagnosis and treatment levels, promoting the integration of medical resources, and providing a comprehensive and multi-level communication platform for clinical doctors to jointly promote the development and progress of minimally invasive spinal surgery in China. Zhou Qi from the Education Department of Dabo Medical introduced the orthopedic clinical technology training base of the China Medical Equipment Association. Dabo Medical is committed to promoting new surgical techniques and concepts, providing academic skill practice bases and communication platforms for clinical clients, and improving standardized diagnosis and treatment levels. It has independently built the Dabo Education Research Institute Academic Education Center, with a total construction area of 5,500 m² and an investment of over 15 million; invited many top experts in the field of spinal surgery from home and abroad to provide systematic and practical course content for clinical clients from various aspects such as theoretical teaching, surgical video explanations, live animal hands-on training, and gross specimen operations, focusing on surgical pain points and difficulties. Academic courses such as spinal OILF lateral lumbar fusion, spinal endoscopic foraminal approach, spinal osteotomy, spinal tumor Enbloc total vertebrectomy, and anterior cervical approach ACAF are offered. It is currently the first orthopedic skill training base in China certified by the China Medical Equipment Association and the only orthopedic brand capable of conducting live animal operations, strictly following clinical surgical aseptic and medical norms to reproduce the entire process of complex and difficult surgeries, creating high-level live animal operation courses that effectively shorten the learning curve for orthopedic clinical experts.

In the afternoon of the meeting, the live animal operation training for spinal endoscopic minimally invasive surgery with different surgical approaches officially began. This training comprehensively adopted live animal operations, strictly following clinical surgical aseptic and medical norms, reproducing the entire process of complex and difficult surgeries, creating high-level live animal operation courses that effectively shorten the learning curve for orthopedic clinical experts.
This live animal training class was conducted by Professor Rui Gang from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University, Professor Hu Baoshan, Professor Li Haijun from Taizhou People's Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University, Professor Bian Yanyan from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Professor Chu Lei from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Professor Jiang Xiaobing from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, and Professor Chen Ruishong from the Third Hospital of Xiamen. They provided operational demonstrations, allowing students to complete standardized surgical practice and better master spinal endoscopic techniques through hands-on demonstrations and practical guidance.
