The "2024 Beijing Medical Association Orthopaedics Branch Academic Annual Meeting and the 20th BOA Conference" was successfully held in Beijing on September 6-7, 2024, organized by the Secretariat of the Beijing Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Orthopaedics Branch of the Beijing Medical Association.
This conference was guided by the theme of "New Quality Productive Forces" and set up 1 main venue and 19 sub-venues, gathering hundreds of well-known experts and scholars from across the country. The conference showcased and exchanged innovative development achievements in the field of orthopaedics in recent years from multiple angles, comprehensively and in-depth, and specifically set up a youth sub-venue to build a platform for young orthopaedic physicians to learn, communicate, and showcase.

The executive chairman of the conference, Professor Zhang Jianguo, the incoming chairman of the Orthopaedics Branch of the Beijing Medical Association and a professor at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, hosted the opening ceremony and introduced the guests present.
